This may surprise you, but less is more when it comes to gardening. It’s easy to over complicate something that is so simple. Remember, the natural ecosystem grows all sorts of plants without any of your help. Learn from Mother Nature. Keep it simple!
The one thing that’s really taken my gardening to the next level is just the concept of simplicity.
For example, I basically start with a coco coir growing medium. There’s nothing in there!
Coco is a hydroponic medium. It just holds air, water, and nutrients. There’s no fertilizer in there to start with. It’s a very inert medium. You can buy it here.
Also, I don’t put a lot in here when using it. There’s just water and my fertilizer of choice, which is Master Blend. For best results, use the full three part kit. You can buy it here.
Most growers are convinced that you have to add a lot of products to have a lot of good results. But that is simply not true. You just have to have good growing practices, a good fertilizer, a good growing medium… air… light… humidity… just the basics.
That’s all you need to take your gardening to the next level.
The only thing I have left to add here is to play a song in a major key that has a tempo of less than 100 beats per minute. This will ensure positive growth vibes.
Just kidding. Plants don’t have ears.
